My friends and I recently made over my sim to a wonderful beach theme. I enjoy getting off my pose stand and finding new places to sit and enjoy my lil corner of SL. I love dressing like I live at the beach and I thought this combination of On A Lark and Legal Insanity was perfect!

My winter break is just about up, and I am not too excited about that. Then along comes Berry with a fun new challenge! I have really been enjoying the images in the Flickr group and was inspired to do my own, especially when Berry mentioned PicMonkey…O – M – G! That site has given me what I have been looking for for a long time and I know I have heard about it before but never bothered to go look…a TOTAL fail on my part! Here is my addition to all the fun SL Yearbook photos:

Thanks Berry for bringing back your Memes. This one was a fun way to start the new year!

Wicca is one of my favorite designers and a dear friend. I love her style! So I am sharing a favorite outfit from Wicca’s Wardrobe. I coupled it with the AMAZING shoes from Glamistry. I encountered these shoes on a Fifty Linden Friday and the creator is so friendly! I was surprised when he immed me shortly after my purchase to thank me. Everything about him and his work is refreshing! I blogged a pair of his shoes in my previous post. What I love about his shoes is the incredible detail and texturing and the HUD that allows you to purchase the entire color palette if you like so you have an increased amount of mixing and matching to make his shoes work with anything you are wearing.
hair > Lelutka – Serena Fades (natural)

I have been thinking for days on how I wanted to close out 2014 on my blog…from sappy to silly…and I decided in the end to keep it simple!
2014 was an awesome year for me, full of new experiences I have enjoyed immensely. I am so happy to have shared 2014 with my friends, ones I have had since before 2014, and ones I had the pleasure to make in 2014. I look forward to what 2015 has to bring.
With the end of one year it is normal, and perhaps traditional, to close doors on aspects of our lives…not for negative reasons, but because the time has come. When reflecting on my Second Life, what I have accomplished and where my passion lies, I have decided to close the doors on the competition portion of my virtual modeling career as well as being a regular contributing writer to Style Kingdom and Cultured the Magazine. I of course am not retiring from modeling or writing, but I am redirecting my focus in both areas. 2015 promises to be a very exciting year for me in terms of projects and I am very eager to get started.
Miss Virtual World 2015 was an amazing experience and was everything I needed and wanted it to be as I knew going into it, that it would be the last competition to me. And as I have said to many friends, what better competition to end on than MVW? I have been writing for SL magazines since 2012, starting with AVENUE who gave me my start in everything that had to do with the SL fashion scene. I have met some of the most wonderful people on the grid all because of one itch I just HAD to scratch. I would not be where I am now, nor met all of the incredible people I have met, had it not been for that very fortuitous beginning. It has been an absolute pleasure to write for Style Kingdom and Cultured the Magazine and I will remain involved with both organizations.
As an aside, I will share my handy WordPress Year End Blog report. This year was a big one for me in terms of blogging and I am pleased with my growth. I would not have had any blogging successes and growth without YOU, those who take the time to read and comment on my blog and I thank you for that. I wish you all a very prosperous 2015!
