Time for a mini break while I enjoy some real life travel, be back soon!
I have a special treat for you today! More machinima! I know that is just what you wanted. ;) I reblogged a link here on my blog to Xiola Linden’s machinima project in honor of Second Life’s 12th birthday and I have finally made my video after seeing a great deal of inspirational ones made by other residents.
Being a fashion blogger at heart I have to share with you that I am wearing some of the latest from Legal Insanity: the Jaelle top (birds) and Baylie capris (old jeans jewels). Both items come in a wide array of options. I love the look!
Thank you for reading and watching my machinima!

Thanks to Legal Insanity, male Silly (aka Silvester) got to come out and strut his stuff in this sexy tank called Sid. It comes in a few variations: solid or with a print (the one I have on is ‘music’), and with or without spikes. Variety certainly is the spice of life!
This handsome tank is an exclusive to the Boys of Summer event going on NOW and through June 30th, so you all had best hurry over there before you miss it!

The current round of the FAD Event is in its final days and will close as of June 25th in preparation for the next round. This round’s theme is “Bird of Prey” and I just loved that color scheme. In my last post for this round I made a departure from the literal ‘bird’ part of the theme and enjoyed the color palette instead and came out summer bohemian.
My look is composed of mainly with items from AsHmOoT available at this round of the FAD Event.
floral wreath >Rose Crown
top > Bad Girl Fringe Top
shorts > Vanessa Hot Pants
purse > Hand Sack
shoes > High Sandals
Do be sure to get over to the FAD Event before this round closes, there are many great items to be had.
Thank you for reading,

I love fun titles and names and “Alice in Sexyland” had my interest piqued right off. Now of course I could make an educated guess as to what the event might be like, but I was still curious (when am I not). So I slipped into one of the four variations of “Golconda” by Dead Dollz and teleported over.
Golconda is a fun fashion number by Kiddo Oh who never ceases to amaze me with her creativity. I tried to capture the fun lil twist each dress has in this photo…do you see it? I didn’t see it at first until I upskirted myself…yes, upskirted myself. I am sure I am not the only one who does that. They practically teach you that in modeling school…no one wants to be caught on the runway without their undies on and alpha layers are the perfect undie… Anyway, I was upskirting myself and I discovered that the underside of the dress was textured differently. Then I had that moment I sometimes have when I get why a designer named their design the way they did. The version of Golconda I am wearing in my photo is called “Night/Day,” makes sense right? Though now I am wondering why it is called Golconda…Merriam Webster says Golconda means a rich mine or great wealth based on Golconda, India famous for its diamonds…hmmm. I will have to consult Kiddo on that one!
I love tattoos and there were plenty to choose from in Sexyland, but I felt the one that best complimented the look I was going for was “Rabbit Hole” by Identity Body Shop.
Next we have one of two hairstyles made by ICONIC for the event. The one I am wearing is called “Wonder.” I had to take this photo not only to capture this fabulous hair (the bow is color change just like the hair is), but to show off a few things I picked up at the event, like the perfect nail polish to match my dress by Dark Passions. I LOVE this brand and really should have more of it. I first learned of them at a gothic event if I recall correctly and their “Koffin Nails” in red and red gradient are two of my go-to polishes. The one I am wearing above is called “Koffin Nails: A Tale of Wonder.” Another long time favorite of mine is the creator of the eyeshadow I am wearing, La Boheme Glamour Eyes Rebel Set 2. I seemed to overlook the fact that La Boheme doesn’t only make awesome nail polish, they make make up too! I could not resist putting on blue lipstick…I am heavily teased about this, it is an old story but an amusing one I won’t bore you all with (moral of the story is I am not afraid of color, I embrace it). But the perfect blue lips in my photo are the handiwork of none other than the talented Madrid Solo (not at the event), “Soft Kisses #8.” Then I added a cute lil necklace by Astralia called “Drink Me” which is also available in Sexyland.
As I as preparing to go to Sexyland I was informed there was a new release at Glamistry so I of course had to put them on! They are actually available now at the Kustom 9 event, but as always they come with an amazing color change HUD that makes all Glamistry shoes work with pretty much every outfit I own! They are called Parrasana Heels.
All of the poses I used through my romp in Sexyland were by the sexy Miss Reddevil of Devilish Poses.
The Alice in Sexyland event is going on now (started on June 12th) and goes through June 26th, so you had better get over there!

Altberg said (and I paraphrase / translate from the spanish original) that Second Life has suffered from its own real estate bubble, where residents can rent a 256×256 metre plot of virtual land for $295/month, and that this business model was not intended for the average consumer. Renting virtual land is an expensive hobby or for those who want to run a virtual business.
Sansar, he said, will offer land for less, and Linden Lab will take a commission on any purchase or sale that occurs. “But only 5%”, he added, “which is extremely low…
